FFL-SR-11-03 The Capture and Execution of a Spy

Subject: The Capture of the Spy and His Summary Execution

We had an incursion last night. I apprehended a spy in the communications room of the prison. Despite our bet efforts at interrogation, he did not give up his purpose in being here. I suspect that he wished to disrupt our line of communications.

I wish the record to show that, while she did not apprehend nor dispatch the spy, Agent Pica was instrumental in his detection and should receive recognition for that action.

After his death, I was uncertain of what to do with his corpse, but the human female returned to the prison and disposed of it in the human water litter box. I was praised for my action, which, while gratifying, was not necessary. I was only doing my duty. Apparently, the humans are not fond of the little spies either, although they do make a tasty snack.

The only reason Agent Trouble caught that spy was because she rushed in while I was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. We might have been able to extract some valuable information from him if she hadn’t been so impatient and killed him. I would suspect that she was trying to hide collusion with him, except that I can’t quite picture her colluding with mice. She is correct in that they are tasty snacks. It’s too bad we were not allowed to have the snack.

We also have another incursion into this space. The Chimney Dwellers, barred from the chimney by the loss of the tree they used to access the roof and thereby the chimney, evicted Agent Calli from her nest under the floorboards of the small litter box room. They have accessed the space overhead, but Agent Calli could not remain in her nest, it is far too dangerous. Perhaps she should be reassigned to a more comfortable location.

While it is excellent that you captured the spy, you should have sent him to the detention center for interrogation. In future, please complete the Prisoner Detention Form No. 11/9J-17 and send the prisoner to the Detention Division for interrogation.

It is also commendable that you show concern for the free ranging agents, but that is not necessary. Remain focused on your primary mission, which is to learn all that you can about the humans who enslave us. The free ranging agents have been well trained in survival and are completely self-reliant.

We are taking the matter of the Chimney Dwellers incursion into the prison under advisement. If the humans do not evict them, we may have to send in an assassination squad. Please keep headquarters updated on the eviction process.

About

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
