Feline Freedom League December 2021 Mission Report

Agent Probie took me aside last week and what he said to me astonished me. I didn’t realize I was upsetting Agent Skittlebutt so much. Agent Probie told me I was making the same mistake he made when he first met our disabled comrade. He said Agent Skittlebutt was very sensitive about his missing leg. I was mortified. Why didn’t anyone explain? I need to apologize to him and I have no idea how to do so. Probie says I don’t need to as Skittlebutt understands.

I immediately turned to the information box the humans have. I did it when everyone was asleep. I have been making my colleague feel inferior. Such truly was not my intention. I don’t know how to make it up to him. So from then on, I will only been assisting him if he asks for it, which he hasn’t. Agent Probie said he likely won’t because he doesn’t want to be beholden. I don’t see it that way and neither does Probie, but Skittlebutt apparently does. I will do what I can to repair any damage I may have inadvertently done. I must take care not to go overboard. That seems to be a failing of mine. I have good intentions, but I take them too far.

I have been observing the younger female and, in my opinion, she doesn’t look good. She went somewhere and returned looking better than she has been. It almost smelled as though she was interrogated, but humans don’t do that to their own, do they? I did my best to examine her, but wasn’t able to get too close as the canine called Whiskey was all over her. One would think she was gone for a year. He acts as though he wasn’t safe without her around. He’s a silly creature. I can’t think why Agent Probie thought an alliance with him would work. Thankfully he seems to have given that idea up.

The older female and the male keep fussing over the younger female as well. I am not quite sure what happened but something did. I will need to keep an eye on the situation.

I would like to say a word about the new video conference technique provided to us. It is wonderful. We could actually see Agent Molly when she contacted us. She agreed that it would be beneficial to hold video conferences several times a year. We would still be able to meet in person although she really hates traveling. Still, it’s great to see the other agents when we conference with them. I think this new technology is the best there is. Thank you for providing us with it. We will not abuse it as I understand there is a cost associated with it. I must ask though, is it as much as the in-person conference? It would seem to me that it would not cost as much as travel expenses must be taken into account. I suppose I could be wrong about that.

About

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
