Feline Freedom League December 2020

Subject: Mission Report

I saw Tux again. I was glad because I was able to thank her for her invaluable advice. I have established an alliance with my fellow agents. Once I realized Tux was absolutely right about their egos, I was able to relax a bit. That made me make some mistakes which should have been a problem, but both Agent Probie and Agent Skittlebutt were magnanimous about them. I guess I was just trying too hard. Now we share the duties and we are all happy.

I received the materials Headquarters sent about fitting in with an established team. I hadn’t considered the idea that both my fellow agents might be a bit traumatized by the deaths of their comrades. That’s something I should have thought of. So I asked Agent Probie to tell me about them. There were more here than I thought. I was surprised. I don’t know why. In any case, Agent Skittlebutt came along as Agent Probie was talking about the late Agent Smudge. He told a few stories as well. I think it helped all of us to talk. Sometimes that’s all you need to do.

The canines are still annoying, especially the big one who shouts at the slightest provocation. Agent Probie believes she will settle down eventually. It can’t happen soon enough for me. That’s been the biggest adjustment for me, all the canines. I must confess they bother my. I won’t let them intimidate me though. I will do my duty. I know that I’m not alone. I’m told eventually, I will become used to the canines and their constant babbling won’t bother me. If only the large one wouldn’t shout so much.

I did my best to write down the stories my fellow agents told me about their fallen comrades. I rather wish I could read some of their reports. It would help me to understand my duties better, I think. I would also like to write up a memorial to them. Would it be possible for me to access the archives to view their reports? I think I could do a good job with a memorial to the Fallen. I haven’t mentioned my idea to my comrades, as I wouldn’t like to destroy the alliances, however, I think I could do a good job of memoralizing the fallen agents. I would, of course, submit my memorial to headquarters before letting my colleagues read it. Please advise if you think this is a good idea or if I should just scrap the idea. I wouldn’t want to cause Agents Probie and Skittlebutt any unnecessary pain.

I do want to mention here, that I believe the unnatural pond is present so the humans can immerse themselves. They seem to like doing that when the weather warms. I would think it cools them, although I would never want to get so wet. Water is so icky. Unlike Agent Probie, I don’t think there is any dark purpose to it. Don’t tell him I said so though.

About

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
