Feline Freedom League Mission Report

Subject: Mission Report

I’m feeling stronger every day, I’m pleased to say. I am determined that I will never be so weak that the humans will take me for another interrogation. That is not going to happen. I am working on the duties we should be focusing on in this place. I am aware that Agent Probie thinks he is doing his duty, but he has forgotten the Fallen. Someone must do the tasks that were part of their duties. So, I have taken it on myself to do them.

It would be helpful if Agent Probie would sit still long enough to discuss the division of labor. But I suppose, given his nature, it is too much to ask. I believe if I am honest, I have bitten off more than I can chew. So, I ask if there is a chance that you will send a replacement for any of the Fallen. If there isn’t, I will do my best to pin Agent Probie down to a discussion of the work that now falls to the two of us. If you are unable to send us a replacement agent, please send instructions to Agent Probie. He needs to work with me to divide up the tasks at this location in the most equal way possible. Fair is fair when after all.

I do not mean to complain. I also do not mean that I think Agent Probie is shirking his duty. He is not. I’m only saying that he may not be thinking of the tasks that once done by colleagues who are no longer with us. I have come to accept that my disability does mean that I am unable to do the work of three agents. I have tried to make it clear to Agent Probie that I am not accusing him of wrongdoing, only of thoughtlessness.

We have divided the territory and the toys, now it is time to divide the workload so that it is more even. Agent Probie, as a capable agent, with no disabilities should take a little more of the load than I. It pains me to say that. I would wish to be as strong as I was before losing my leg, but that’s not the case.

I will also speak with him about an exercise regimen. Or perhaps we could play a game together. I think we need to build ourselves into a team. With that thought in mind, I would like to request some team building materials or at least an exercise we could use to that end. I’m sure there must be some somewhere. If there is nothing of that nature in the library there at headquarters, please tell me. I will try to make some time searching the human’s magic box for something suitable. I will need to use subterfuge and plan to do that in any case. I find something useful. Should I find anything, I will send copies to headquarters for the library. I also want to make it clear that some days I tire faster than others.

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
