Feline Freedom League: Report to Headquarters September 2019

From: Agent Molly
To:  Mr. Whiskers
Date: 1 September 2019
Subject: Third Report of 2019
The noisy things are not monsters. They are made things. Humans use them to reduce the cover around the habitation so that they can keep us in sight should we escape these habitations. There is no other threat from these things, except for the removal of cover.

I see no other felines in my vicinity. The two I tried to recruit last year seem to have moved dens.
The humans in this habitation seem to be kind enough. They do not take liberties with my person although the female will sometimes hold me as she sits, but she rubs my back and head when I feel I need such. I only allow it because it feels good and I hope to gain information. More often than not, I feign sleep to eavesdrop on them. I can’t say I have learned much from them. They do not seem to discuss important strategy around me. Perhaps they realize that I am listening. I will need to change my tactics and see what else I can learn.

I will scope out more hiding places so that I can better spy on the humans in my location. I have been experimenting with secreting myself in the portable cave they provided me. I like it in there. They cannot see me in there and I can listen without pretending to sleep and can even take notes. I will work from there as much as possible in the future and report my findings.

I find I was incorrect in my assumption they couldn’t see me in the den they provided. They do not interfere with me when I am in there. I can watch them through slit eyes. I have received the summons to another conference at Team W’s location. Are these conferences going to be a yearly thing? I don’t like traveling. I will do it if necessary, but I want it on record that I really don’t like traveling.

That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy the conference. Meeting the other team was delightful, but I was greatly restricted in my movements. The human female kept saying she didn’t want me to hide from them when it was time to go home. I remember that distinctly. The larger cage, not the one I travel in, is still in the lower cave where my litter box is. That is comforting. I am not expected to spend time in it as of yet.

I will do my best to learn why the humans meet like that. I must say they don’t appear to be plotting against us felines, but we should be wary when they do meet up. My human female just talks about visits. She laments not having something called an RV, which she says would make the trips easier. I must do research to learn what that is. I will make that the subject of my next report, should I find anything of interest.

About

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
