Subject: Mission Report

Agent Skittlebutt jumped me last week. He actually managed to pin me. He told me that he understands that I am trying to help him, but he didn’t need help. I’m not sure that is completely true, but he asked me to listen. I said that I would and he let me up.

He told me that he needed to do things for himself if only to prove to himself that he could. I guess that makes sense. I said I would leave him alone unless he asks for help. We both agreed that was fair. I must admit that I have been surprised at how well Agent Skittlebutt has been doing without my help. I guess I just wasn’t paying attention to what he needed. Of course, it helped that he told me what he needed and that was what I needed. I’m not sure that I am making sense, but the thing is that we have resolved our issues and are starting to work together.

Yesterday, I asked him to work on a project with me that involves observing the older female carefully. I think there is something wrong with her. Not the same thing that the younger female has that makes her fall over, but the older one seems to be having trouble breathing. Agent Skittlebutt agrees that she seems to be having that kind of trouble and we have been observing her carefully. We will keep headquarters up to date on what we observe.

I had to sit on Agent Probie the other week. I came right out and told him that I needed to do things for myself to show myself that I could do it. I think I surprised him. I sure surprised myself. I’ve never admitted that I have been unsure that I could do anything, before, even to myself. I guess I needed to tell that to both Agent Probie and myself. I feel better for it.

Anyway, he has been letting me do my job without interfering or trying to do it for me. I think we are both the better for that. Yesterday, he pointed out that the older female seems to be having trouble breathing and asked me to help observe her. She doesn’t fall over like the younger female, but she is definitely having trouble breathing. I looked over the male, who doesn’t seem to have any problems.

Agent Probie and I have set up a schedule so that we can observe the older female to see if there is something wrong or if this is a ruse of some sort. I can’t imagine why she would pretend to have breathing issues, but that is a possibility. Agent Probie says that she sounds as though her breathing is impaired. I confess that I haven’t heard that, but Agent Probie has spent more time observing her and is more up on her. He and I will take turns watching to see what develops. We will report our findings when we have some.

About

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
