Subject: The New Agent
I can’t believe that they have sent a new probationary agent. We have too many agents here now. Have we become a school and no one told me? I would have appreciated a warning or two. Please reassign Probie as soon as you can. There are too many of us for the tasks to go around. He is preventing me from getting to my assigned position, as the humans are keeping him in isolation. I am certain that I have no idea why. he is confined to my observation room.
We can’t teach him anything when he is in there and we are out here. Even making this report is difficult. I certainly hope that his sojourn with us is fleeting. Is there any indication whether this is a long-term or short-term situation as the facilities are strained to the limits. I don’t want to sound as though I am complaining, but we were competing for observation locations and other facilities before the Probie arrived. Is there a way to return him for reassignment? I would appreciate that. I feel that my years of service have to be worth something. The Probie is not helping our situation.

Subject: The New Agent
The new Probie has been kept in isolation for almost two weeks now. I think we should work on ways to free him from his current state of captivity. He seems nice enough. I think we could find a place for him here. I think Agent Mulder is just annoyed that he can’t get into his favorite observation post. He needs to understand that things change and he also needs to learn to roll with it. I think the Probie will do fine.
That said I have nothing much to report except that it is amusing to see the smaller canine’s reaction to the Probie. The canine is bigger than Probie, but Probie put him in his place. Probie was well trained there. I congratulate his Interspecies Relations trainer. Is that his mission here, to help us with our Interspecies relations? I was not aware that we had any issues, but I suppose there is room for improvement. I’m open to such training, but is Probie up to the job of providing it? I honestly do not know. I suppose I will find out.

Subject: First Impressions
So far my new assignment is going well. I’m working on finding ways to escape solitary confinement. The canine that I met here was not trouble. I have intimidated him thoroughly. He is now determined to avoid me whenever possible. I will work on my assignment, to drive out the canines with alacrity. They are larger than I am, but I think I can take them.
The other agents have been less than welcoming. I was surprised as I was under the impression that all agents were to help each other. This group is not so accommodating. None of them has lifted a paw in welcome, much less to provide me with assistance to escape solitary. I didn’t expect to be placed in solitary confinement as soon as I arrived in my new posting. I think Agent Mulder may be at fault here. I hope to be able to survey this base of operations soon. This seems ideal. I have older agents to learn from and a large amount of things to observe.
I would like more instructions on what I am here to do, though. The others seem to v things under control. Am I here for more training? I can only suppose I am. I assure you that I will do my best to do the League proud. I would like to master this type of posting and possibly transfer to FCIS as soon as I can. I like to investigate. I believe I will be good at it.
