Subject: New Furniture and a New Puzzle

They have brought in new furniture. These are things to sit on. They don’t chase us off them either. The new stuff smells vaguely familiar, as though there are scents on them that I remember smelling before. It’s human scent. I just can’t remember which humans had that scent. They were here recently, though. It may have been during the festival time; perhaps they were here for the festival of food.

They have removed some furniture, which is not good news for Agent Snickers. That furniture comprised one of her favorite hiding places. I think she is trying to figure out how to use this new stuff in a similar fashion, although I think they will punish her if she rips any of it.

They have rearranged the room, putting more obstacles in our path to the litter box room. It’s hardly fair, we sometimes have to run, there’s more chance of interception by the canine, who always backs down from a good hiss, but he still slows us down. Still the new stuff is comfortable to sit on. It even takes off some excess hair, which means that I don’t itch as much.

The humans are concerned about something called global warming. They say that is why it is so warm outside. It feels colder than inside, but perhaps they mean that it isn’t as cold as it was last year at this time. I don’t know, I don’t remember last year very well. Humans have been concerned about global warming for a long time, but this year, they say it is causing no snow. I think snow is what they call the white rain that piles up outside. It hasn’t done that in a while. Is this something we need to be concerned about? our roving agents may have it easier if the white water doesn’t fall down. Perhaps we should look into this global warming and at least learn what it is.

Subject: Furniture and Global Warming

I agree that the new furniture is comfortable to sit on. I believe I lived for a time with the humans, whose scent is on the furniture. They were Agent Princess’ humans from when he was posted with a human family. It was while our team was separated, before we came to this place and were reunited and fused with the team of Agents Cuddlebug, Snickers and the late Agent Milo.

As for Agent Smudge’s comments on Global Warming, humans capitalize it so it must be important. I endeavored to search the information box for further information on it. Apparently, some humans are concerned that they have put something called greenhouse gases in the air that makes the entire earth warmer. They say that it is messing up the weather and that the sea level will rise. They talk as though it is a bad thing. I will continue my research into global warming if you wish me too, but I don’t believe there is anything we felines can do about it. Some humans seem to think there is nothing they can do about it, while others think there is. I hope the latter are right, though. It sounds like it will ruin good hunting.
