Feline Freedom League Monthly Report for November 2023

From: Agent Winnie
To: Mr. Whiskers
Date: 5 November 2023
Subject: Mission Report
We are all settled. Even the schedule balances our workload in a more fair manner. To my shock, Agent Zoe offered to help Agent Probie with the schedule. Then they consulted me! I had input. I was also designated as the official Clowder Archivist. Agent Zoe asked if I could use a paw with the initial organization. Of course, I accepted.

I haven’t quite got it all situated, but the reports are in piles by date. By that I mean year. I have Agent Zoe going through a pile to sort it into months. I’m doing another pile and Agent Probie is doing a third pile. I have determined I will need one more cabinet, although two would be better. That way, we have room to grow.

Once we sort the reports into months within a year, we can begin filing them by date in the cabinets. I will have to enter them into the catalog database at that time. Agent Zoe offered to assist me with that, as well. Her idea was that one cat will need to look over the reports for content, and the other will enter the data. I accepted the help.
She will not be available all the time. So the work will be slow going. It’s better to go slow and do it right than to go fast and have to redo it.

Agent Probie offered a suggestion, that we file the reports first. Then go through each drawer and do the catalog that way. I suppose that would work. It would keep things organized. I told him I would think about that. The more I think about it, the better I like his suggestion.

I feel part of a team now. That’s great. We are definitely going to be fine. We are a team again. We will continue to work together. That is what a clowder is all about.

I am also sending a requisition for informational material for our new library. If we have material sent to us, we should put it in a library. So that’s what we have done with the materials individual agents have requested. I will add those to the database as well.

Agent Probie has begun work on a manual for Senior Agents as there isn’t one yet. He asked for input from me and Agent Zoe. We will be submitting our chapters to headquarters for approval. I don’t think I needed to say that, but it is best to state everything clearly. I will be writing about proper reporting, and basic record keeping. Agent Zoe, will, be working on workstation set up and scheduling. Agent Probie will be doing at least one chapter on delegation.

I hope to catalog a copy in our library soon.
As for the humans, they have settled down now as well. They are still monitoring our time near doors, but their vigilance has lessened. I don’t think it will be that easy to transfer agents in the future.
