Subject: Mission Report
I’m pleased to hear that you think I’m doing well as clowder leader and Senior agent. It helps me to hear that I’m doing well in the eyes of the cats at headquarters. I need to know this. It occurred to me that I should do the same. I should tell my teammates when they are doing well. So I did so. Agent Zoe was suspicious. I can’t win with her. Agent Winnie accepted the compliment with grace but I had the feeling he felt it was his due. Well, I said what I thought and they both are performing well. I wish I felt as though we are a team.

I have ventured into the library to look for pamphlets on team building exercises. I have finished the schedule and the arguments have lessened. I should promote a sense of being a team if I were to start some team building exercises into our routine. I didn’t find anything useful in the library. So I retired to my territory and began reading through the manual. I may have found a simple team building activity. I had to go to the human’s information box. That’s where I found this team builder. I will have us sit together in a circle, or as close to a circle as three cats can achieve. We will count to twenty. The idea is that anyone can start the count, say a number, well, the next number. If two of us call the same time, we start the count over. It’s supposed to foster a sense of team work. I hope it works.

I did the team building exercise last night at our weekly meeting. It went about as I expected. I had a little trouble getting them on board with the idea. I had to make it an order. It took us over an hour to count to twenty. I must admit we were laughing by the time we finally made it to the count of twenty. I’ll have to find another game we can play at our next meeting. I don’t think I’ll have as much trouble getting the others to play.

Agent Zoe made a suggestion about the schedule. I took some time to consider it and then I announced that I would use her suggestion. She looked pleased. She should. It was a good suggestio. I’m finally getting the hang of leadership. It doesn’t mean to do everything yourself. It means work with your colleagues. I needed the team building as much as they did. I am sending the team building games I found to you in the hope you can use them to help other teams. Please let me know if they were helpful or even if you have some team building games we can play in the night. I also was wondering if there is a manual for Senior Agents on leading teams. If there is, would it be possible that I get a copy? I need one.
