The Boston Marathon Bombing

Yesterday they ran the Boston Marathon. Every year people run twenty-six miles for fun. Not my idea of fun, I might add, but people vary and that variety is good. Variety makes the world a better place. I salute variety in people.

Some people don’t think variety is so good. They want everything to be the same. They want everyone to be the same. They walk in darkness and they want everyone else to walk there too. They say that they serve Allah or God but they couldn’t possibly. Allah or God would never want that. God handed down the Ten Commandments to Moses; I believe the Muslims believe that as well. One of those Ten Commandments is “thou shalt not kill.” So why would God or Allah approve of bombings? An act of terrorism at the Boston Marathon claimed two lives and wreaked havoc on many more lives. These people were just having fun and some sniveling coward had to ruin it.

I read interviews with some of the people who were there. One said that she had planned to do it again next year, but after the bombings, she’d decided not to – score one for the terrorists. Another said his parents were running the race and were to have gone to London for the London Marathon – he thought they might not do that now. Score two for the terrorists, since that plays into the terrorist’s wishes. You can’t fight terrorism with guns and bombs. You can only fight it with defiance. No reaction to it hurts them the most.

They don’t have the guts to come out and fight like warriors. They lurk in the shadow, hiding from the light of truth and God or Allah. They don’t seem to realize that God and Allah are one and the same. The cowardly fools just hide from the light like the cockroaches they are. I take that back – to call them cockroaches is demeaning to cockroaches.

Terrorists have no honor. Where is the honor in attacking from the shadows? Suicide bombers are the worse cowards. They obviously couldn’t live with themselves for what they do and condone. It takes more guts to live than die. People die every day. Even babies die. Most do so with honor, the terrorist does it with shame, especially the suicide bomber. They have no honor. They have no courage. So I say to the runners of the Marathon – don’t let them stop you. You love to run so run in spite of them. Don’t let the sniveling cowards win.

To those who lost someone there, pick up the banner and don’t let them take you down. Your loved one will be with you always and forever, in your hearts and memories. Don’t let the terrorists take that from you. Live life and conquer.

About

I am not one who is comfortable talking about myself but here goes. I enjoy writing, family history, and reading. I decided to do this blog because I wanted to try something new. I decided to make it a weekly blog because I wasn't sure that I could keep up with a daily one, and monthly seemed like I was writing a magazine. I think I did ok with my choices. You'll notice that there are not a lot of graphics on my site. That's because there are graphics plastered everywhere on the Internet and those sites sometimes take forever to load. This blog is a place where you can kick back, relax and be ready to be amused. At least I hope I willbamuse you. This blog is on a variety of subjects from my ficitional cat agency, the FFL, which is monthly, to instructional blogs to editorials, which are my opinions only. I admit that I don't know everything and could be wrong -- I frequently am. Now, stop reading about me and read what I have to say!
